Scheme 4 - RAAF Camouflage - RAAF 1970 fighter camouflage - Extra Dark Sea Grey (BS381C-640), Olive Drab (BS381C-298) and Light Gull Grey (FS 26440). It should be noted that these airframes were parked on a flightline without cover and the paint, especially the EDSG would fade quickly to a Dark Sea Grey. Roundels in four positions (fuselage and lower wings - smaller size), black serial at the rear of the fuselage and the last two aircraft numbers on the engine cowling in small font. Propeller tips white-red-white. High-vis 77 Sqn tail flash and most airframes had the pilots name under the front canopy or a commander's pendant.
