After the war, he joined Trans Australia Airlines and served throughout Australia and New Guinea. Two images of Jack and DC-3 VH-MIN (originally a C-47).
There is a very good video of Jack flying VH-MIN (which was originally built as a C-47 rather than a DC-3) on Youtube at 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u3q0a5EY28'. It was originally a Douglas C-47A-25-DK, RAF Serial: KG647 (Dakota III), briefly postwar with BOAC. A full history of it's service on the local registry as VH-MIN (and many images) can be found on the ADASTRA webpage at 'https://www.adastra.adastron.com/aircraft/dc3/vh-min.htm.
He was also involved with the warbird movement. Amongst his image collection were these two restored Wirraways

A20-653 is apparently the actual identity of the first one. The other was originally A20-719, Restored in the 1990s by Rob Greinert (Jack was a member of the syndicate involved) and that appears to be him in the pilot's seat in this photo. The aircraft was tragically lost in a crash at Nowra on May 30, 1999 killing the pilot and his passenger.
Jack Curtiss had flown the original A20-458 while training at 7 SFTS Deniliquin. This image from his collection is of the original airframe and that is likely him in the cockpit. All Wirraway images Jack Curtis via Dominic O'Donnell.
